I'm Home ! I'm Home ! I'm Home !!! Feels good to be back in Mumbai. Keep seeing snapshots of the trip. Everybody telling me to get married, the East Coast Highway to Pondy (Awesome Road), The temple dedicated to the world's greatest brother (I kid you not. More on this later). Hmm this is my first posting from my trip. The weather in Chennai has been extremely decent over the last week. Instead of being the normal 40 degrees in the shade sort of thing been nice and cloudy and actually raining. Chennaites can't handle this weather. Unused as they are to not sweating. Does not sit well with the TamBrahm ethic of suffering. I suppose we think of life as penance for our shortcomings. Hence the constant scrimping and saving. Yeesh. Anyway upside has been that I visited Landmark (One of the best bookstores IMHO) and picked up some good stuff. A entire rack of Indian history and travel - Wow Mumbai does need space!!!!! Off to Bangalore - Hopefully better time there.
