I decided to not post for a day or so. Sort of just convince myself that I am not addicted to Blogging. (I can quit whenever I want to :)). Realized that quitting something that actually requires you to think (Yes Yes I know it seems like the most easy tripe but my feeble IQ and large ego demand that I say that it is the product of much consideration) is very easy. Plus yesterday was May Day and I support the proleteriat. Being a unemployed member of the Bourogoise means I can be one of those lay wastrels. Me thinks reading Wodehouse has made me long for being like Wooster and hang out at my club. Although I don't belong to any and the only way I am going to get close to one is if Mom decides she has had enough of me being at home and chases me back to work with one. Man U play Charlton today. For nothing else GO ADDICKS!. Wonder how that nick happened ? HAPPY Birthday ACHU - There u got ur 17 characters of Fame. The great steam engine ride is tomorrow. Hope to click some nice pix. Yesterday Rathin, Shoggy and I had dinner @ Fresh Catch. Rarely have I seen anyone enjoy his food the way Rathin did. Makes me happy that he is a Delhiite. Such beings time in Mumbai should be closely monitored and at the end of it they all should be deported back to whence they crawled from. I did want to make a major point in todays post but the day is still young. Perhaps later when I am not so drowsy.....

Jeez another hot and humid day. Dunno how long I can handle this. Being in a AC office environment u tend to miss on the heat. Moreover I now have a cold. Damn this bleddy climate. I have the sneaking feeling it's being caused by the AC at night. It's now 2 days without coffee and one day without cycling. Have to get back into the habit else it's all downhill.

What a day What a day. Lunch @ Brittania and dinner at Apurva. In between attended a industry meeting after ages. I don't miss this at all.I don't miss people saying I Think when they haven't. Anyway on more interesting topics I wonder if Brittania would have survived in any city other than Mumbai in India. Difficult to believe that a restaurant that is open for lunch only attracts such a large crowd. The crowd today was diverse. Louie suggested that was because in Mumbai it doesn't matter what u are. U still have to head back home in the same old bloddy local. True True. And didn't even cycle today. Oh god I don't feel too good. On days like these I need to build a shrine to the guy who invented Air Conditioning. And on the topic of coolers - Duke's Lemonade is suddenly unavailable. All the other Pepsi products are available but Lemonade seems to have disappeared. Come on Pepsi get your finger out. Lemonade after a hot day is Ambrosia. I got my second fan email today. (Didn't want to make a fuss about the first one but 2 pieces of email!). I have a following. Today the internet, TOMORROW DER WORLD !!

Exhausted Old Me. Even though I used to keep talking of lukkaing in town I never wondered whether I'd be able to handle it. Yesterdaywent to town and lukkaed for all of 2 hours. A walk fromVT to Fountain drained me out completely. Is it my lack of stamina or my cycling or my general unfitness ? I can only mourn the loss of one of my pleasures. Hopefully it will be temporary. RAGHU will Lukka in town again !. A bright spot for this week is that I am going to go on a steam engine ride this weekend. Should be fun. (Yes Yes Yes I know weekend makes it next week - Shut up).

Man Ure won today against Spurs. It makes it next to improbable for Arsenal to repeat their double. Dammit. I was looking forward to rubbing Man Ure in. Anyway it looks like the Lakers are also not going to find it easy in the NBA this year. Dammit all my teams seem to be in trouble. Why is it that you end up supporting teams in sports that have no relevance to you whatsoever ? Me thinks being a TV sports addict has a lot to do with it. Thankfully I don't follow Baseball or Ice Hockey (Although a sneaking feeling of empathy with the San Francisco Giants does exist). I also think that being in a uni sport country where cricket is the be all and end all is a pain.

A Lazy Lazy Lazy Sunday. Spent the day at home. Vegetating in front of the TV/PC/ Reading..... Lovely. Now off for a bit.
